My earliest recollections of Echi are from The Purists where he mainly posted on the photography forum. I didn't have many interactions with him in those days as photography was personally a means to an end, not an end in its own right. Over the years I came to appreciate not only his penchant for photography but his adroit writing skills; whenever I read his posts I feel as though he's actually speaking. Kinda like what Jimi Hendrix was to guitar. So not only am I taken by his approach to photography . . . his ability to convey thoughts and feelings in writing are extraordinary.
We're most fortunate to have him on our team. There's some serious photography talent here, which I'm sure will expand with him at the helm.
